Since 1969, Semiotica has been the official journal of the International Association for Semiotic Studies and the flagship journal of semiotics globally. In  2024 the journal is moving to gold open access through De Gruyter's Subscribe to Open (DG2O) initiative.  The Semiotica Editors-in-Chief invite the community to celebrate our transition to open access at the end of the IASS journals fair (18:00-19:00) on September 3, 2024 with a complementary reception and champagne toast as we move beyond more than 54 years of paywalled access into the future of open access to Semiotica for all.
