In the contemporary academic environment, the imperative of publish or perish’ is often felt. Yet, in this environment, many scholars find their work at best, requiring repeated revision or, at worst, in a cycle of rejection. Publishing is not always easy.
The IASS Journals Fair is designed to address these issues and offer an opportunity to make the best of your semiotic research, to get it disseminated swiftly and most expediently.
At the IASS Journals Fair, journal editors will be available, at tables allocated for their journals, to take enquiries from scholars about what is needed in order to publish articles in their journal.
ECRs are particularly welcome, but all scholars can come and pose questions or pitch articles to the editor.
Meet and discuss your work with editors of top journals such as Semiotica (de Gruyter), Social Semiotics (Taylor & Francis), Sign Systems Studies, Punctum, Degrés, Studia Semiotyczne, Digital Age in Semiotics and Communication, deSignis and many others.
We look forward to seeing you there.
